The blessing of being able photograph their engagement, and now to witness the happiest day of a dear friend’s life is truly a special one… not to mention one six and a half years in the making! One of the first things anyone notices about Mary is that even when she isn’t smiling, her eyes still are… and she managed to find a man whose smiling eyes can compete! The light air of happiness when those two are together is magnetic and the perfect venue to be an extension of that was Yolanda Ranch. Family owned and operated, Yolanda Ranch’s historic charm was warm and inviting, filled with thoughtful details throughout each room.
Mary’s purple color palette was beautifully reflected in her family’s outfits and made for stunningly soft and romantic bouquets crafted by the Dixon Florist laced with a couple of surprises, like orchids. The rings, from a friend in the jewelery business (….Shane Co… sorry, couldn’t resist) reflected the timeless class that set the tone for this country style wedding. Fun cowgirl boots paired with a lace Alfred Angelo wedding gown, bistro lights, reclaimed wood, a fun taco bar for dinner, secret handshakes- these things and more are what spoke of Will and Mary and their group of long time friends who can laugh and cry together.
We wish you two all the absolute best and thank you again for choosing us to capture such a heart-warming wedding!
